Originally from the east coast, Teafly is an illustrator, writer, & performer who works in a variety of mediums- both analog and digital. Her work has been featured locally on the cover of The Source Weekly and in Bend Magazine as well as going viral online around the world. She loves creating interactive art projects for the community, like the 8’ foot tall Earth Day Puppets that lead annual Bend Earth Day parade. When she is not making art, she is probably talking about art and when she is not doing that- she might be paddle boarding or riding her bike or lying the grass and staring at the sky.

Originally from Georgia and a diehard Bulldog and Braves fan, Cate got her first radio job in Bend in the late 90s. She was here two weeks, called her parents and said, "I love you. I'm never coming home." Though her work led her to Texas for a time, the call of Central Oregon was too much, and she, like so many others, moved back to the High Desert.
She met her future husband at the radio station, got engaged on-air 15 years ago but she drew the line at getting married in the building. After taking time off to be with her daughters, Cate is delighted to be back home on 101.7.
She is an avid skier, mountain biker, paddleboarder, and hiker. It's little wonder why Central Oregon was the perfect place for her to land.
